Temperature-calibrated tactical-grade MEMS inertial measurement units with gyro bias stability up to 1.0 °/h — the compact, low-SWaP sensing core for UAVs, guided munitions, land vehicles and marine platforms.
Built on low-noise MEMS gyroscopes and accelerometers and calibrated in-house across the full operating temperature range, aSense tactical-grade IMUs deliver gyro bias stability up to 1.0 °/h for land, air and maritime platforms as well as munition systems.

IMUs are classified by gyro bias stability — the number that most determines how fast navigation error grows once GNSS is lost. aSense IMUs sit firmly in the tactical-grade band, delivering hour-scale aided navigation in a MEMS-size package.
| Grade | Gyro bias stability | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Consumer / Industrial | 10 – 100+ °/h | Phones, consumer drones, robotics |
| Tactical grade — aSense IMU | 0.5 – 10 °/h (aSense: ≤1.0 – 2.5 °/h) | UAVs, guided munitions, land & marine platforms |
| Navigation grade | < 0.01 °/h | Aircraft, submarines, ships |

Attitude and navigation core for fixed-wing and multirotor UAVs, robust through GNSS outages.
Compact, shock-tolerant tactical-grade sensing with transfer alignment support.
Odometer-aided dead-reckoning for armored and unmanned ground vehicles.
Motion sensing and heading for USVs and naval systems with speed-log aiding.
An inertial measurement unit whose gyro bias stability falls roughly between 0.5 and 10 °/h — accurate enough for minutes-to-hour GNSS-denied navigation when aided, while staying compact and affordable compared to navigation-grade FOG/RLG units.
Modern tactical-grade MEMS IMUs like aSense offer far lower size, weight and power than FOG units. FOG becomes necessary when long unaided endurance requires navigation-grade bias stability.
Every unit is calibrated in-house across its full operational temperature range on thermal chambers and rate tables, compensating bias, scale factor and axis misalignment per unit.
